How to open file saved as pptx

I just got this new laptop, and I am unable to open files saved as pptx. I was able to open it on my previous laptop. I am wondering if I deleted something in error while setting up.

it is normally files that can be opened with power point
if nothing is installed you should download a program allowing it

or try

https://www.libreoffice.org/
