Received a message after unplugging the computer for 20 mins that the battery has reached the end of life and requires replacement.

What you can do is to enter your PC's product number in the search window at the link below and get the HP battery part number your PC uses.

After you get the HP battery part number, enter it in the search window at the link below and you can see if HP sells it.

The HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - HP parts - hp batteries - SSD - printhea...

If not, you can do a search by the HP battery part number on Amazon, eBay or laptopbatteryexpress.com and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references the HP part number.
