Hi, I am having a problem reactivating Microsoft Office Home and Student. The software was bundled with my laptop when I purchased it, but I am having trouble reactivating the software after reinstalling my Windows. I have checked my Microsoft account, but nothing is there.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
Thank you.

Hi @Hidayatoo,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check for an Office Product Key:
- When Microsoft Office is pre-installed on a laptop, it often comes with a product key that might be on a card in the package or in the purchase confirmation email. Check your laptop’s packaging or emails for a product key.
Sign in to Your Microsoft Account:
- Visit the Microsoft Account Office page.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account you used to register or activate Office the first time.
- Once signed in, check under “Services & subscriptions” to see if your Office version is listed there.
Reinstall Office:
- If Office is listed in your Microsoft account, download and install it from there by following the steps provided on the site.
Activate Office:
- Use the product key, if required, during the installation process to activate your Office suite.
Use Office Activation Troubleshooter:
- If you are facing activation errors, Microsoft provides an Office Activation Troubleshooter which can be used to diagnose and fix activation issues. See Microsoft Support for more information.
I hope this helps.
