Rebooting your HP Envy 17" laptop is a straightforward process. If you are experiencing issues or simply need to refresh your system, follow these steps:

Steps to Reboot:

  1. Save Your Work: Make sure to save all open documents and files to avoid losing any unsaved work.
  2. Close Programs: Close any open applications to ensure a smooth reboot.
  3. Using the Start Menu:
    • Click on the Start Menu icon at the bottom left corner of your screen.
    • Select the Power icon.
    • Click Restart. Your computer will close all open programs and restart.
  4. Using Ctrl+Alt+Delete:
    • Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard simultaneously.
    • In the menu that appears, click on the Power icon at the bottom right corner and select Restart.

Alternatively, if your system is unresponsive, you can perform a hard reboot: 5. Performing a Hard Reboot:

  • Press and hold the Power button for about 5-10 seconds until the laptop turns off completely.
  • Wait a few seconds, then press the Power button again to turn the laptop back on.

Rebooting your laptop helps clear the system of any temporary issues and can provide a fresh start.
