Hello community.
Recently, I began to run out of RAM to run my laptop, so I decided to upgrade it. I bought a used Samsung M471B1G73EB0-YK0 DDR3L SDRAM, same as the one on my laptop. After I inserted it into a free RAM slot, my system reserved it entirely for its needs. The whole day I searched for a solution on the Internet, tried to rearrange them, put them in turn, clean and wipe with alcohol, removed the restriction through msconfig, looked for backup settings in the BIOS, updated it and all the drivers, but no result. Of the 16 gigabytes of RAM, only 6.9 are available.
I hope for your help.
My native languages are Russian and Ukrainian, so if you speak one of them, please use it.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
