HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer
Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and older

I bought the 3755 in Nov. 2021 to replace a 4280, which I used to print, scan and copy regularly. I use 3755 to print Word files, but I have never learned how to scan. I have spent all day searching the HP website for answers without any luck. The chat gives me nothing I can use. It also does not mention any ability to copy, which the nameplate on the printer states. I have no manual to use. This is at least the fifth HP printer I have owned.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to scan, I am glad to assist you.

You can set up the printer using a Mac Built-in driver.

Here are the steps:- Click here

Follow the steps below to use HP Easy Scan.

Download HP Easy Scan - Mac App Store (in English) to scan

Load the document in the document feeder, or on the scanner glass according to the indicators on the printer.

From the computer, open HP Easy Scan, which is located in the Applications folder.

Follow the on-screen instructions to scan the document.

When you have scanned all the pages, click File, and then click Save to save the file on your computer.

Keep me posted.

If this helps, please mark the public post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Dear SandyTechy20, I had given up hope of getting any help until you came along. Your memo boiled down to the following: Download HP Easy Scan. Load the document in the document feeder. Open HP Easy Scan. Click Scan. Click File. Click Save. I had to look in All My Files to find it; it was the first of numberless files listed. I was able to rename and print the scanned document. Now how do I copy? (The long way would be to scan and then print, but I'd rather make an exactly sized copy.) Thank you.

Hi, I need the case number that you gave me a couple of days ago. I can't find it anywhere.
