Product: HP Spectre x360-13t Quad Core
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I just got a separate monitor and docking station that connects to my HP Spectre laptop via HDMI plug. Initially it worked wonderfully. But now after a few uses, the laptop is making a super irritating high-pitched ringing noise when plugged in to my new set up via HDMI. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to stop it? Thank you!

Can you connect the monitor directly to the notebook and check if that makes any sound?
