The HP 14 Maintenance and Service Guide does indicate that the backlit keyboard is an option for this series
NOTE to those reading:
If the option is available on your computer, the backlit keyboard is switched on with the Action key
Part Number information for the keyboards (including the backlight model) are shown on Page 65
Removal and Replacement - Take apart "everything else" as shown in the guide.
Partial Excerpt from page 65:
"The top cover with keyboard remains after removing all other spared parts from the computer."
What does this mean?
You must pretty thoroughly disassemble the computer to replace the keyboard.
