How to do a complete uninstall of MaCafee LiveSafe trial version that came with my HP laptop when I bought it ? So I can install my Norton product that I already have on my old laptop and android tablet.

thank you for your answer "The Old Man" Now when I remove MacAfee should I then turn on Windows Defender and then install my Norton product ? Once Norton is installed the Windows Defender will automatically turn off on its own, correct ?

Yes, I would do as you posted.  Windows Defender should be turned off by the Norton install process without user involvement.
