Elitebook Ultra G1q
Microsoft Windows 11

Hey,

just like someone else, who's thread got closed for some reason, I am wondering how the  ">" is supposed to be entered on the EliteBook Ultra G1q.

It is printed on the L key, together with < and |, which I can both type with FN + l and FN + ALT GR + l respectively.
I have yet to find a button combination to write the last  symbol ">" and have to resort to copy & paste, which is absolutely crazy to me.

If anyone has the solution, I would be grateful if you could share it.

After some research it might be that you have to install the latest qualcomdrivers and then,

type for a < just the  Fn-key + l-key

and to get a > press first "fn+" (which is actually Shift) THEN hold down the FN key and then as a third key type "l"

for the pipe symbol press first the FN key and then the ALTGR and then the l-key.

Pro tip: I´ve connected a keychron keyboard via bluetooth in the office and just use these combos when traveling...

HP notebooks always have been problemtic with their layouts. Especially when you have to work on Linux + shells. Would love to see a proper native Qualcom+HP linux support for the g1q so I can program my keys how I want.
