Microsoft Windows XP

I have a hp pavillion dv4289. I am going to install windows xp x32 but  I dind't drivers for this notebook on hp official web site. Anyone help me

Hi:

 

HP no longer supports any equipment that is over 10 years old.

 

I can't even find any specs on the machine to even guess what drivers it needs.

 

I can try to help you find drivers you need, if you post the hardware ID's for the devices that need drivers.

 

You can find the hardware ID for each device by going to the device manager, click on the devices needing drivers and then click on the Details tab at the top of the device window.

 

Post the string of characters that you see in the window.  Most of them will start with PCI\VEN.

 

You need to have XP SP2 or SP3 installed in order to view those ID's.
