HP Notebook - 15-ay138cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have HP laptop

HP Notebook - 15-ay138cl

It comes pre-installed with Windows 10 64 bit Home OS. The windows was very very very very slow. I remember, there is an HP jumpstart driver, i register in it and my drop box upgraded.  Back there, I could easy see the HP jumpstart.

But since i have reinstalled windows 10 64 bit home again and after installing the jumpstart driver from the Hp drivers in the website. I can't start it. It is giving installutil.exe error.

I just want to fix this driver issue. Can anyone help me on this issue ?

How can i install the Jumpstart software driver and it will work fine ?

Superb description and spectacular troubleshooting and commendable diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂

To assist you with accurate information I would require more information regarding this:

  • Did you run the latest Windows update and check again?

Then download it to your computer and install it.

  • Later restart the computer and visit the same HP support site and download and install the critical update for HP jumpstart.
