I updated my laptop to the latest update as of March 10, 2020. the USB c ports don't recognize anything that is plugged into them and won't charge my laptop so I fear when it dies I will be out of luck. Can anyone help me?

Main thing to do at present is to see if you can back out that Update and then check to see if the USB-C ports are then working.

Do do that, do the following:

1) Open settings --> Update and Security --> Windows Update -- View Update History

2) Select the most recent update and see if Windows will let you remove it.

IF it does, when done and the PC finally reboots for the last time, see if the USB-C ports are now working.
