Hp Omen 15 NumPad keys 2 & 8 not working

Ever since I purchased this computer in the summer (Australia) of 2017, the NumPad keys 2 & 8 specifically wouldn't work. I've tried external keyboards, driver updates, complete windows keyboard driver re-installs, 3rd Party HID drivers. No matter what I've done I cannot seem to find a fix for this. I don't believe it to be a hardware issue as if it were, external keyboards would work just fine. 
This isn't a severe issue but it has been bugging me for all 4 years of my laptops lengthy run. Any help is appreciated.
