The HP apps came with the OS that was preloaded onto the HP laptop. If you put in a new drive, that would be blank and not contain anything. Thus, I'm presuming that you used Windows media obtained from Microsoft to install Windows to the new drive -- so of course, it would not contain any of the HP apps or drivers.
Adding HP Recovery Manager will do you no good because a new drive will not have the HP Recovery partition that it needs. Also, you can not copy the HP Recovery partition from one drive to another, so even if you made a copy of it, you can not copy it onto the new drive and have it work.
And finally, HP does not provide the apps as downloads because they come preloaded with the OS.
