Hy,

I had a similar problem, shut off laptop unplug thé Power and press thé start button 30 seconds. If dont work you must speak with à hp tech...

Yep -- I have tried this along with all the fixes that have been mentioned here. Updating BIOS, etc., etc. Still to no avail! I have seen posts from HP Employees that this is supposed to be fixed in the next BIOS release, and I am anxiously awaiting!!!
