I recently bought an hp chromebook (not the touch screen one), I am trying to connect it to a projector using a usb-b cable to usb-c  but without  success. I tried downloading the iprojector extension but I don’t get the download option. When I go to devices in the settings the only options I see are the ones for ‘built-in’ display. How can I connect this computer to a projector?

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

It's difficult to make a suggestion without knowing what exact model ChromeBook you are using.

Normally, older USB ports do not have the ability for Video Out.  Newer ChromeBooks have HDMI out ports built into them.

I use an older HP ChromeBook, and the only way I can stream the desktop is using WiFi via the "Cast Screen" option.
