Hp scamming us?
07-15-2019 02:58 AM - edited 07-15-2019 03:23 AM
Again my 19 month old laptop has suddenly stopped working. I find it extremely strange that as soon as my warranty ends my laptop suddenly dies and doesn't turn on what so ever? Are these made to just last until your warranty is up because this isn't the first hp laptop to magically die on me like this one. It was working perfectly fine one minute, turn it off and go to switch it back on the following day to find out there is no power to it what so ever! The charger works absolutely fine as it charges up my backup laptop, so I know it's not that. I just find it strange how all my hp laptops does this. Seems to me they're made to only last until the warranty is over!

Hi,
When you attach the charger does the charging led come on?
No leds, fans or anything else when you hit power button?
Try performing a power reset and see if it helps. Here is how it is done:

Let me know,

Hi David, there is no lights at all when I plug the charger in, it's completely dead. When I turned the laptop off it was fully charged as well. There is no fan, no lights or any sound coming from the laptop at all. I've tried doing that quite a few times what you suggested but still it remains dead. It's very weird how one minute it works perfectly fine, then the next it doesn't work at all.
Thank you for trying to help me though, I appreciate it.
