Product: HP Chromebook x360 14a-ca0000 (2V973AV)

I am trying to add my childs school account to my chromebook. I am running into the issue where they are trying to make me sign in with her school email address and when I type it in they are telling me it can not be found. I have been searching the internet for hours and I am not finding anything that is allowing me to connect her school account to her profile. I even tried my account hoping that with out the parental controls maybe it would go through but I am having zero luck. It is all run by google drive so I am not understanding why I can log into her school account. She has it at her other parents house on their computers with are windows computers. But I am having zero luck on my chromebook.
