Hi @AndiBee,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for your patience. Sorry to hear about the trouble in If you received the Pen with the pc as a bundle, here's how to pair your HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen with your HP Envy x360 (Windows 11) laptop:
1. Charge the Pen
- Use the included USB-C cable to fully charge the pen.
- A white LED will light up while charging.
2. Check for a Pairing Button
There are two versions of the MPP 2.0 pen:
- One has a top button that you press and hold for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode (solid blue light).
- The other does not have a pairing button and connects automatically when used with a compatible touchscreen.
If your pen does not have a top button, it does not pair via Bluetooth—it uses Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP) and should work automatically when you touch it to the screen.
Test the Pen
- Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Pen & Windows Ink
- Try writing in Whiteboard, OneNote, or Paint
- If the pen doesn’t respond:
- Restart your laptop
- Ensure Windows is fully updated
- Try the pen on another compatible HP device (if available)
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
