Hi @Saintboogie

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understsand that your HP screen is locked by “PC App Store” and you can’t use the normal Windows desktop, it may be an unwanted application or browser-based lock screen.

If possible, send me a photo of the locked screen so I can identify exactly what is locking the PC and give you the safest removal steps:

Upload a photo

In the meantime, try this:

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  2. Look for PC App Store, PCAppStore, or any unfamiliar process.
  3. Select it → End task.
  4. If the desktop becomes accessible, go to Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
  5. Find PC App Store or any recently installed suspicious application → Uninstall.
  6. Restart the PC.

If Task Manager is blocked or the screen immediately returns to PC App Store let me know along with the  Product number.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
