@HKMI

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?

Try the steps recommended below and let me know if this helps.

Step 1: This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state

Right-click the Computer and select Properties. Click Device Manager to find whether there are yellow exclamation marks beside the hardware names.

Step 2: Uninstall the Drivers
Right, click the hardware with problematic drivers and select Uninstall.
(Note: If it is the recently installed programs that cause the blue screen, you also need to uninstall the programs in this way.)

I would suggest here is to Run Windows Updates troubleshooter -

Download and install the troubleshooter from this link.

Now try to perform Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I downloaded the HPSA from the drivers and device page after signing in and providing the current product number details. It was not the latest version but anyhow the program was installed successfully on my computer and then it updated itself.

After that I can't download and install driver from that my computer instantly shuts down when not on a power supply

Let's try Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8.

BIOS default:

  1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
  2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
  3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
  4. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
  5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
  6. Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
    And reinstall the HPSA.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
