@Stephypoo97, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're unable to access the Play Store or any of your previously downloaded apps on your HP Chromebook - 14-ca051wm running Chrome OS. Let's work together to get this sorted out!
This issue can occur due to:
- A temporary glitch in your Google account sync
- The Play Store being disabled
- A corrupted user profile
- Chrome OS needing an update or reset
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
Check if the Play Store is Enabled
- Click the clock in the bottom-right corner.
- Select the Settings (gear icon).
- Scroll down and click Apps.
- Click Google Play Store.
- If it's disabled, click Turn on and follow the prompts to enable it.
Check Your Google Account
- Make sure you're signed in with the correct Google account that was used to download the apps.
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Google to verify.
Restart Your Chromebook
- A simple restart can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.
Check for Chrome OS Updates
- Go to Settings > About Chrome OS.
- Click Check for updates.
- If an update is available, install it and restart your device.
Powerwash (Factory Reset) – If Nothing Else Works
This will erase all local data, so back up your files first.
- Sign out of your Chromebook.
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R.
- Click Restart.
- In the box that appears, select Powerwash > Continue.
- Follow the on-screen steps to reset your device.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
