I am trying to download a BIOS update and the support page will show the document in the knowledge base for a few seconds and then return to the main support page.   No matter what I choose to do, I just get returned to the main support page.  Is anyone else having this issue.  It is Thanksgiving day and I wasn't expecting to get help directly but the webiste shouldn't be on holiday.

Hi @gdgannon,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing difficulties accessing the BIOS update on the HP support website, there are a few things you can try.

  • Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, cached data or cookies in your browser may cause issues. Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies and then attempt to access the support page again.
  • Use a Different Browser: If the issue persists, try accessing the support page using a different web browser. This can help determine if the problem is browser-specific.
  • Incognito/Private Browsing Mode: Open an incognito or private browsing window in your browser and try accessing the support page from there. This mode doesn't use your existing cookies or cache, which can help troubleshoot the issue.
  • Try a Different Device: If possible, try accessing the support page from a different device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) to see if the problem persists.
  • Disable Browser Extensions: Some browser extensions may interfere with the functionality of certain websites. Try disabling browser extensions and see if that resolves the issue.
  • Check for Browser Updates: Ensure that your browser is up to date. Outdated browsers may not fully support certain web features.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
