@irfan0, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP EliteBook G6.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're facing with installing the Bang & Olufsen audio control app on your EliteBook G6. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

  1. Check for Windows Updates:
  2. First, ensure that you have all the latest Windows updates installed. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on Check for updates.

  3. Update Drivers:

  4. Visit the HP Support page to check for and download the latest audio driver for your specific EliteBook G6 model. Make sure to select your correct operating system version (Windows 11).

  5. Download Bang & Olufsen Audio App:

  6. If you do not have the app pre-installed or if it did not install automatically with the driver update, you might need to download it separately, which is sometimes provided in the audio driver package itself.

  7. Manual Installation:

  8. If you have the installation file for the Bang & Olufsen app, try running it as an administrator. Right-click on the setup file and select Run as administrator.

  9. HP Support Assistant:

  10. Use the HP Support Assistant to check for any driver or software updates that can ensure compatibility with Windows 11.

  11. Compatibility Mode:

  12. If the above steps do not work, try running the installation in compatibility mode for Windows 10. Right-click the installer file, go to Properties > Compatibility, check the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box, and select Windows 10.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
