I cannot stop HP Software and Drivers Update popup message.

The HP Software and Driver Update popup continually appears - like every half hour or so.
I've set the schedule to never.  It doesn't  make any difference.  It's really quite annoying now.
Everything IS up to date.  I've only just bought the machine, set it up, and run all updates.
How can I force it to stop?

10 people (at least). very annoying problem. perhaps uninstalling all hp apps may stop it. If HP support actually reads this, they may answer our question.

Got a new popup 2 days ago, with opt out for update check.  Success! Thanks HP.

Yeah, mine pops up about every hour. HP printer software a mess too...now this. I doubt if I'll ever buy another HP product again. Gets to you after awhile.

Well no one sent me a thing. Still get these annoying pop ups for Software & Drivers.

I have the same problem and others too, with my new HP device. Quite disappointed compared with the samsung ultrabook I've had for 7 years without a single issue. Please HP, is there a fix for this problem?
