I have a hp elitbook 840 g5 with sim card slot. Now how can i make call using the sim card slot

Not all HP 840 G5 machines have WWAN option. Did you buy WWAN option for your machine ? Without WWAN option the SIM card is useless, it won't work.

Have you purchased the WWAN option for your machine?  yes.
SIM card is useless without WWAN option, it won't work.  I know.

My point is that earlier we used modem to use internet from there we could make calls, messages. This WWAN alternative machine is used instead of modem. There is no facility to make calls or messages from here?
My computer model is HP EliteBook 840 G5 8th Generation. There are call pick up and call hang up buttons.
