Hi @Davo52,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?

Need help finding your product number? We've got you covered! Check out this handy guide:

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_2039298-1862169-16

Meanwhile, please try the below steps:

Restart Your Laptop: Start by restarting your laptop. Sometimes, Windows will attempt to automatically reinstall missing drivers upon reboot.

System Restore: If restarting doesn't work, you might consider using the System Restore feature to revert your system back to a point before you deleted the HID drivers. Here's how:

Type "create a restore point" in the Windows search bar and select the matching result.

In the "System Properties" window, click the "System Restore" button.

Follow the prompts to select a restore point from before you delete the drivers and restore your system to that state. Note: It is important to remember that using a restore point will restore system settings, programs, and registry to their previous state. Any changes made after the selected restore point will be lost. Ensure that all important files are backed up before performing a system restore.

Use External Keyboard: If you have access to an external USB keyboard, you can use it to navigate your laptop and attempt to restore the HID drivers.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Best regards,

Kuroi_Kenshi
