My laptop appears to produce electronic noise that interferes with my Oticon Mini Rite R hearing aids. It is not constant. I get the noise two or three times in the first hour of use of the computer, almost as if the software is cycling through a few processes in that first hour. Does anyone have similar experiences?

Hello Irwin6,
I followed your instructions to inspect the hardware. However, it didn't matter how many times I tapped ESC, nothing happened and F2 just decreased brightness as it is supposed to do. It just may be that I'm doing something wrong. I'm almost 80 and I'm not sure if I have to do anything else in conjunction with your instructions. In any case, I used my wife's identical HP laptop this morning and it produced no noise to my hearing aids. When I switched back to my own laptop, the noise came back.
Thanks,
Ott4
