I never search or click on app software with which I have no knowledge and / or I am not using for myself.
Personal choice - The Internet is a dark and scary place for the unwary.
That said, if you are having issues with a particular app, start by checking at the source, that is, the website from which you obtained the application. Some apps require specific types of access to your file system and / or your network.
If you cannot access or download any applications from any source, the issue might be due to permissions in your account, your device's connection -- or lack of connection -- to the Internet, or a tangle in the connection. Try restarting your device (computer, tablet, phone).
