Hi @Vrushali8
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thank you for explaining the situation, and I’m truly sorry Microsoft Office Student 2021 was uninstalled by mistake. It’s frustrating when essential apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint disappear—especially when they came pre-installed with your HP laptop.
Let’s walk through the steps to help you restore your original Office subscription:
1. Sign In to Your Microsoft Account
- Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services
- Sign in using the same Microsoft account that was used to activate Office when the laptop was first set up.
- Look for “Office Home & Student 2021” under Services & Subscriptions.
2. Download and Reinstall Office
- If Office is listed, click Install next to the product name.
- Follow the prompts to download and reinstall Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
3. Activate Office After Installation
- Once installed, open any Office app (e.g., Word).
- Sign in with the same Microsoft account to activate the license.
- If prompted for a product key, skip that step—your account handles activation.
If you’re unsure which Microsoft account was used or don’t see Office listed, try checking your email inbox for any activation confirmation from Microsoft or HP.
Let me know how it goes, and I’ll guide you through the next step if needed.

Thank you so much for reply Hawks_Eye!!!
Unfortunately, My Microsoft account which has my HP device added, does not show any Microsoft Office & student 2021 subscription. However, while purchasing the laptop, it was mentioned as in-built feature. Can you please suggest on this?
Best Regards,
Vrushali
