Hi @nashatricia,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To close the hpsystemeventutilityhost.osd process, you can follow these steps.

Open Task Manager:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, or right-click on the taskbar and select "Task Manager."

Locate the Process:

  • In the Task Manager window, go to the "Processes" tab. Look for "HP System Event Utility Host" or something similar. It might be listed under a different name, so check for any HP-related processes.

End the Process:

  • Right-click on the process and select "End Task" or "End Process." Confirm if prompted.

Verify Closure:

  • Ensure that the process is no longer running by checking Task Manager again.

This should close the hpsystemeventutilityhost.osd and help you proceed with your GED test.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
