@Hesh_NC765, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To adjust the keyboard backlight on your HP Victus Gaming Laptop, you can follow these steps:

Adjusting Keyboard Backlight

Turn on the Keyboard Backlight: Usually, the keyboard backlight on HP laptops can be controlled using a function key combination. Look for a key with a backlight icon on your laptop. This is typically one of the function keys (F1-F12). Press the "Fn" key along with the key that has the backlight icon to toggle or adjust the backlight brightness.

Access HP Command Center: Some HP gaming laptops, including the Victus models, may have software like the HP Command Center or OMEN Gaming Hub where you can control the lighting settings, including the keyboard backlight. You can access this software from your Start menu and look for options related to lighting or keyboard settings.

Check Power Settings: Ensure your laptop is plugged in or has sufficient battery, as some power settings may automatically dim or disable the keyboard backlight to save energy.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
