I very need a windows 8.1 driver for my laptop. I cannot find it anywhere.

Intel never developed a storage controller driver for Windows 8.1 for platforms with the Intel 11th generation and newer processors.

 

As a matter of fact, they probably didn't develop any for the Intel 7th gen and newer processors.

 

What you are looking for does not exist.

 

If you want to install Windows on your notebook, it must be W10 or W11.

 

Let's just say for argument's sake that by some miracle, you were able to install W8.1.

 

You would find no graphics, audio, Wi-Fi, touchpad and probably many other drivers that would not work on W8.1.

 

So, what good would it be to install W8.1?
