I need help setting up the cac reader for my hp elitebook

What is the model and generation of your HP Elitebook machine ? MANY HP Elitebook machines now do NOT have card reader.

 

We have to use USB-A or USB-C external card reader such as

 

            https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/c/technology/hard-drives-data-storage/card-readers
