Recently I had a problem with my laptop pavilion dv6 (no additional version) which is retired laptop serial no. [Personal Information Removed]. What see ing every YouTube video about this they all said the same thing which is to update your bios with flash drive but I can't find any bios file for this laptop can u pls hep me

Hi:
All of the BIOS updates for your notebook's model series have to be run in Windows.
I don't know how you can make a BIOS USB recovery drive with that file.
HP retired support for your notebook since it is more than 10 years old.
This reputable 3rd party driver site has the BIOS update file, but it was written to be run on Windows 7/Windows 8.
