HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D118AV)

When looking to upgrade my graphics driver to the intel IRIS, my laptop says it has the hp 24H OS.  But HP wants me to select my OS and it only lists hp 22H.  Should i select OS 22h?  Update to the intel driver?

@RonK8s, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 is showing HP 24H OS, but HP’s support website only lists 22H, it’s likely that the latest drivers have not yet been updated on the website for the newer OS version. However, in most cases, drivers for 22H should still be compatible with 24H as long as there haven't been major system changes.

Regarding the Intel Iris Graphics driver update, here’s what I recommend:

Check for updates via Windows Update

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update > Advanced Options > Optional Updates and see if a graphics driver update is available.

Use HP Support Assistant

  • Open the HP Support Assistant app (pre-installed on HP devices) and check for recommended driver updates.

Download from HP website

  • If HP only provides 22H drivers, you can try installing them. If they are incompatible, the installation will typically not proceed.

Let me know if this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
