Hello, I´m need to update the  Intel® HD Graphics 620 to the last version, when I try to find the last version here https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html I get this message

"A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver & Support Assistant is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues. Contact Hewlett-Packard (HP) for the latest driver for your computer."

I actually have the version 23.20.16.4973 date 2/28/2018 and I need the latest, could you please help me? I tried to follow the instructions here https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Video-Display-and-Touch/Driver-for-Intel-R-HD-Graphics-620/m-... but when I install the program I got the same message, that I should contact HP

Where can I download the last one? Thank you!

Hello javiwalls.

Here's the thing. Although it's possible to install INTEL Generic GPU drivers on HP laptops, the OEM drivers provided by HP on its support pages are the truly 100% compatible drivers written especially for your system. Therefore, it's generally NOT the best of ideas to replace them with the generics which in Intel's words: "Installing this Intel generic graphics driver will overwrite your computer manufacturer (OEM) customized driver. OEM drivers are handpicked and include customized features and solutions to platform-specific issues. Any graphics issues found using Intel generic graphics drivers should be reported directly to Intel. Corporate customers should always use OEM drivers and report all issues through the vendor they purchased the platforms and support through. We supply generic versions of graphics drivers for general purposes. Computer manufacturers might have changed the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the graphics driver software or software packaging. To avoid potential installation incompatibilities, we recommend that you check first with your computer manufacturer and use the driver software provided by them." If you insist on doing so, you will have to do it manually. This involves manually downloading the correct driver, manually uninstalling HP (previous) driver-sometimes you have to use DDU for a really thorough uninstallation, and finally manually installing the latest Intel driver you downloaded. Here are the links with the information you need:

This is the link about Intel's DCH drivers for your system where you can find information about the differences between these drivers and the previous non-DCH ones:
