If the computer is powered-off, and you turn it on, does it IMMEDIATELY ask for a password?
Or, after you turn it on, does it boot-up, and then ask for a Windows password for the 'admin' logon-ID?
If the latter, turn the computer off.
Turn the computer on, and look for a message like "press <BLAH> to enter SETUP" (or something like that).
You might have the option to enter "System Recovery", i.e., reload Windows 8 from a "hidden" partition on the disk-drive, to reset the operating system back to its "factory" settings. Then, you can set a new Windows password.
Also, reloading Windows will wipe-out any possible computer-virus, and any "personal" information remaining on the disk-drive.
