I want to cap the battery charging at 80% on my pc. But no such option was visible on my BIOS. I have searched on the internet and they said that the option should be visible on the BIOS menu but the only relative option that I found was adaptive battery optimiser (which was enabled) but no option to cap the battery at 80%.

Hi:

Your notebook does not have the feature to limit the battery charge to 80%.

Only HP business class notebooks have that option.

Yours has the battery optimizer option and since it is enabled, that is the best you can do.
