F5 button doesn't have a sign for the backlight keyboard.

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I was unable to locate a User Guide for your model, but chances are if you do not see a function key with the backlight icon, then you do not have a backlit keyboard.   (See the red arrow below).
