HP Probook 440G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased my probook 440G7 in the month of august and that time my windows was activated and microsoft was also activated but from past1 month, windows wants product key to activate and so microsoft. i also didn't get certificate of authencity so also wanna know from where i can get my product key and COA?

Hi:

 

If your notebook came with W10 from HP, the product key is in the BIOS. 

 

There is no COA per se anymore, because it is all digital.

 

See if this works...

 

Install the free Showkey plus utility from the Microsoft store.

 

Get ShowKeyPlus - Microsoft Store

 

This will show you the OEM product key in the BIOS and the version of W10 the key is good for.

 

There should be an 'Installed key' and an OEM key.

 

If the Installed key is different from the OEM key, change the installed key to the OEM key in the PC settings menu>update and security>activation menu, and see if Windows activates that way.
