Has anyone switched out of S mode successfully? I absolutely hate this mode of Windows. Had I known this when I purchased my laptop, I would have never gotten it. I want to use zoom for meetings and I am not able to do this. There are other drawbacks, like only being able to use Microsoft applications as well. Please someone who has done this provide me with a good qualified answer. Thank you.

Welcome to the HP User Community.
Yes, Windows S-Mode is quite limited and is certainly not for everyone.
I suggest you pose your "anyone do this?" question in the Microsoft forum.
Ask the Community: Microsoft Community
Why?
S-Mode is a Microsoft Windows Operating System environment and is not tied to the brand of computer.
Yes, you might get a "yes I did this" response here, too, of course.

Reminder, this is a One-Way-Ticket: Once you leave “S” mode, you cannot go back to “S” mode.
