HP Recommended
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

We just left the Apple world and built/ordered our first HP laptop (Pavillion 16). Delivery about two weeks out. We haven’t been on Windows since the early days of XP. Any recommendations on initial out of the box setups? I was reading that there are several items you should immediately uninstall. Any help in this transition would be appreciated…

HP Recommended

Everything is automated when you first start-up.  It walks you through all that you need to start.  Make sure you follow all of the steps, especially making the Microsoft account and password for Windows.  No need to uninstall anything.

I would imagine the biggest hurdle will be moving data from the old Mac to the new laptop, if that is even necessary.
