I cannot understand why I cannot install Windows 7 from a flash drive even though my free dos new HP laptop does not have a skylake Intel processor (it is just a Celeron n3060).
After the language setting I get an error messsage requiring a driver tha I seem not to have on the installation drive.
How can I get over that and proceed with the installation of W7?

You either have to install W7 using an installation DVD or...
1. Go into the BIOS, enable legacy mode and disable secure boot. W7 is not compatible with secure boot.
See this guide for the settings to change...

2. You need to run this utility to put the required USB3 drivers into your W7 USB installation flash drive.
There is a readme link on the webpage for how to use the utility.
