HP Pavilion
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Got an HP desktop computer running Windows 10 from someone that bought a new computer so she gave me her old one. Anyway, she has Norton 360 on it and the subscription is about to run out. Since I am not going to use this computer myself but give it to someone, I don't want to invest any of my money in buying and installing anti-virus software. I will be completely removing Norton 360 from this machine and enabling Microsoft Defender (which is free and part of the Windows 10 OS), and possibly the free version of Malwarebytes to protect against Malware and Ransomware attacks. Please offer your opinion on what I am about to do here - pros and cons.
Thanks
