Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I've done a fresh installation of Windows 10 using bootable USB created with MS Windows Media Creation Tool (v 1809).

After that, when Windows updates tool was installing graphics driver the computer showed a black screen with a cursor which I could move, then after one minute shut down showing BSOD: VIDEO TDR FAILURE. I've tried to reinstall the system, then install the driver from the HP website  (before updates) - the same issue. Using HP Support Assistant - the same issue. The problem is, that after the blue screen happens, I can't access the Windows, only in the safe mode. The computer basically starts, shows the HP logo with a moving circle, black screen after that and resets. Automatic repair can't do anything as well...

Is it a known bug in this laptop? I want to get it back alive...

Please help me to solve that and thank you!

@DixJoe

After reinstalling Windows, please install Intel Chipsets first then reboot machine before install more drivers. You must install 3 Intel drivers:

Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver

Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Client Driver

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver

Regards.

.@Banhien Thank you for the response! Unfortunately, it didn't help me. I've installed a fresh copy of Windows, then:

Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver

Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Client Driver

Couldn't install IME as it kept showing me 'your platform is not supported'. Tried 4 versions of this driver, my CPU is Pentium N3710 so maybe it is not supported by this technology?

However, I've installed one more driver:

Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface Driver

as it was in the Chipset section in my laptop HP support page.

Then, I've installed Intel HD Graphics - Braswell from the HP support page for my model too. After that, the same thing happened (black screen with the cursor for a minute then BSOD: VIDEO TDR FAILURE). This time I've noticed that there was information that the blue screen is caused by igdkmd64lp.sys. After BSOD and restart, the system won't boot properly - black screen, then restart.

I don't know what is wrong but I'm very unhappy as I did a clean installation using an official HP tutorial and now I can't use the laptop...

Here is the link to HP support drivers site for this model if it helps in anything:

Please help me solve this issue

Tried release 1709. Still same issue but the difrence is that after blue screen, the computer restarts and shows only cursor on the black screen. Please let me know, anyone from HP support, is it a known bug? Because I'm starting to think that my GPU is faulty.
