Hello. I have been trying to install Windows 10 for 2 days now. Tried several ways; from Microsoft site through their download. Put the update on a USB drive and tried that way. So far it goes through a lot of downloading, which takes about 2 - 3 hours. Then says it is getting ready and starts updating,
it gets to around 73% and then just says 'Windows 10 failed.' and stops, that's it. So I have no idea where to go from here. All the requirements for W10 are okay with this puter so I thought it was just a matter of the download.
The HP Pavilion 15-p284ca works beautifully always and I am using 8.1 and all updates have been automatic.
Thanks if anyone knows what could help.
Masx

Rather than upgrade, you can run Setup to get a fresh Windows 10 install. Remember select to keep all user data, files and programs
