Installing an Application

HP Recommended
Gaming Pavilion Laptop 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello HP Community,

I'm trying to install an app from uni onto my PC and I get the following error when I try and run the set up:

"Invalid Command-line parameters. Unable to continue"

Then "Setup was not completed successfully".

I tried running the set up as the administrator and still no luck.

Any advice?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Melissa

It almost sounds like the application is packaged incorrectly, that is, there is an error inside the application installation package.

The key to this is the application was provided to you by your university, yes?

What to do?

Contact whomever supplied the application and ask that group or person for help.
