In a nutshell, the procedure would be to:
1) Reinsert the system board into the laptop
2) reconnect all the leads to the system board
3) reinsert all the other components into the laptop
4) reconnect all the leads to those components
5) close up the case of the laptop
6) insert a USB stick containing the appropriate HP Recovery Media
7) Boot the PC from that Media and do a factory reset to reinstall the OS, drivers, and HP utilities
